Young Farmer Turns Rice Fields into Business Empire
The Ethiopian Ministry of Trade announced that soybean meal produced in the new fiscal year will be exported to China, following an agreement ensuring compliance with China’s phytosanitary standards. China, already a major importer of Ethiopian agricultural products, received over 29,400 tonnes of soybeans worth $18 million in 2024. Ethiopia welcomes China’s decision to deepen trade ties and is committed to supplying high-quality, competitive soybean products.
