UN’s FAO Applauds Ethiopia’s Remarkable Strides in Food Security and Green Development

Galana-Kulalu Revival Marks a New Era for Kenya’s Food Security and Agricultural Self-Sufficiency

Ethiopia earned high praise from the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) for its remarkable progress in food security, sustainable development, and environmental initiatives. During a meeting in Rome, FAO Director-General Qu Dongyu commended the country’s achievements in wheat and rice production, urban-rural development, and the Green Legacy initiative — attributing these successes to strong leadership and citizen commitment. FAO also recognized Ethiopia’s Green Legacy with a sustainability award and honored the Agricultural Transformation Institute for its successful commercialization cluster program.
